Man oh man, moodstream is totally cutting into my productivity. What productivity, you ask? Exactly. Not like it's ever been great, but I'll be lucky if I find someone, heck, find anyone this week. It's just been so much fun to get stoned and just watch moodstream. Oh well, not like my dad hasn't noticed yet.
Check out this hilarious list called Manly to Metro. Man, I fell out of my chair when I read that. Yeah, since it's so easy for me to find a person, I spend most of the day just reading that random stuff. Shhh! Don't tell my Dad, or he'll cut my pay. He thinks I'm actually down here in the basement slaving away for ten hours a day. Ha! No, I'm just getting paid for ten hours a day. It's the best gig ever! But I do work sometimes, like right now, I do have to do a background check on someone. So I'm going to peace out until next time.
I've got great news (for once): Because I've proved myself to be excellent at finding people I think my dad is going to hire me full time to run background checks, do regular people searches, etc. He'd pay me pretty well and I could set my own hours. As long as I got the job done, which I will because I'm so good at people searching. I can find someone in a matter of minutes with the right information and a good Internet connection. I can't wait! I never thought I'd turn my passion into my profession. It's like a dream come true. Yeah!
Unfortunately a good thing never lasts. There's always some jerk who rains on my parade. In this case it's the overlords at HBO, who seem to love canceling the best shows on tv. I totally agree with the rant to HBO regarding Bill Maher. I love Bill Maher. Everything that guy says, I agree with. Hear me HBO? With my new job I'll actually be able to pay for you rather than pirate from my neighbor so I actually care more what's on TV and what's not.
Okay, and so then my dad asked me to do a background check on the old business associate he wanted me to find last month, since he knows I know how to search people. Seemed kind of silly, since they were already business partners years ago, so I did the background check, and he totally checked out. No surprises there. Anyway, I'm getting excited out summer, so you know what that means: the Best Fake N' Bake money can buy and regular trips to Vitamin World.

So remember a few months ago my dad wanted me to do a background check on a business partner? Well, dear old daddy had a new task for me this month. Since he knows I'm such an awesome people finder, he wanted me to see if I could track down an old business partner of his. They worked together years ago on the board of directors on this local grocery chain or whatever, and he remembered this guy had a keen knowledge of manufacturing metallic alloys - actually, I'm completely making that up, but it was some complex technical thing he did, so I have no idea. Really, my dad cares. But anyway, I did a people search using this search people site and found him! Now, my Dad and he are in touch chatting up a storm about some new business venture or whatever. See, easy and useful. Now, I can just kick back and watch these sequels we want to see.
Hey Everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to update. I have no good excuse. I haven't been busy, haven't been doing much of anything really, just spacing out, I guess. Huh. Weird how time flies like that. I decided to update just before Valentine's though, because I'm feeling a bit down about it, so I wanted to share that. I'm tempted to use a people finder to see if I can track down one of high school flames or something. On the one hand, it can be exhilarating to find someone from your past. Or it can remind you: Oh, right, that's why we fell out of touch. I'm afraid that if I track any of them down, I'll just be depressed that they're all married or something. Maybe I should find a contractor instead.
Sorry I haven't posted in ages. I know, I suck. But after my last post, I bet you can guess why? Yeah, I was super, super busy with the holidays and my family and friends. It was a lot of fun, but I don't really want to talk about it. It was also really exhausting, so mostly, I'm just glad that it's over. Phew. What I did want to blog about was this awesome club I went to while I was home called Blaze. I know, that's the goofiest name for a club ever, but seriously, you should check it out. It's on main street, and they have the best new age synth pop jazz fusion band on alternate Thursdays and every third Wednesday that you just HAVE to see. No, seriously, the lead singer has the best mullet in the world ever. Actually, his bullet is the best and only reason to see the bad, but it's definitely worth checking out. With hair like that, you'd never expect him to play as music as good as he does, but to be honest, it sounds a lot like the muzak I hear at the mall. Huh, that's funny. Anyway, if you want to find people then here you go! Or maybe you want to try to find people this way. That's cool too. But if you just to laugh, check out this knee-slapper of a list: heard at a new years eve party. Enjoy!
Hey everyone! I am glad to be back here speaking (well, really "writing") with all of you. It has been a pretty uneventful month in general... but that's good, I suppose. Things are about to get really busy with the Holidays coming up. I am spending the beginning of Thanksgiving with my mom and my uncle, and then the evening with my dad and his wife (and her adult kids). Then for Christmas I'm heading up to see my brother (who lives about eight hours away by car), his wife and their new baby who is due to be born literally any second now. Then for New Year's I'm going on yet another trip to spend some time with old friends. It's exciting, and I'm really looking forward to it... but it makes now feel like a really... like... getting ready time. I also have to get in all my background search and people search tendencies out of the way now so I won't be tempted to log in at one of their computers while visiting. :) Of course, the last time I was spending time with my dad I helped him run a background check on one of his potential business partners, and let me just say that I'm glad we did! Going back to the feeling of "getting ready" though... I have been trying to lose weight this month so I won't be over my normal weight after all these festivities. I read this article on Consumer-Advocate.org - Hoodia Weight Loss that I thought was really good... and since I don't have any heart diseases or anything, and already eat pretty well, I thought I'd pick some up. I did about two weeks ago, and I'm already down five pounds. It's created a problem for me though in that I'm enjoying weighing less so much that I don't know if I want to gain it back eating it up over the holidays. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck.
Hello again everyone! Thanks to Mike for the comment on the last blog. It's exciting to get comments. I get people search emails from some of you sometimes too, and that's also awesome. Getting comments and emails makes me feel like I'm not just talking to myself, so thanks for that.
To keep you all coming back, I've dug up some really good site recommendations this month, or at least I think they're pretty good. Some are funny. Some are serious. They're all worth at least a two minute glance. One is about background checks, so you know I've gotta love that (I have some new people in my parents' lives that I need to run some on, but that's a totally different story for a totally different time), and the other (people search related one) is about... well... people search! Check those out if you're trying to find someone online, or reconnect with a lost loved one. However, if you don't need any help people searching, but you do need help reconnecting with your sense of humor, then you've gotta visit GiantLists.com, and read this Top Ways To Waste Your Day list. It's one of their best yet (of course, I am a GiantLists-aholic). So... yeah. That's pretty much all I've got for you right now. Talk to you all again soon!
Where did you go? That is something I have always wanted to do and still after reading your post, plan... read more
